Summer Garden Party

Garden parties are the best opportunity for you to enjoy close friends and family in the most natural setting… your backyard! Whether it is a Sunday brunch after church or a Saturday night dinner with cocktails, a garden party is an awesome excuse to add some pizazz to your backyard with bright, colorful summer decor that will add vigor and life to your party.

We decided to share some easy and simple decor ideas for a garden party that anyone can put together.

We love the idea of incorporating real fruit into centerpiece arrangements. Not only does it add color to your table setting, but the aroma of fresh fruit will enhance the summer outdoor feel as well.

Dress up your bird bath or spare bucket you have lying around the garage by filling them up with water and adding floating flower heads! You can coordinate the flowers you use with the arrangement you have on your dining table or you can use fresh flowers growing in the yard. Add floating candles as well to the water to create a great nighttime ambiance for your guests to enjoy!

Bouquet Charms

Keith Watson Events has recently seen an increase in brides incorporating their own personal mementos in their weddings. For many of our weddings this season, we have noticed a reoccurring trend with our brides personalizing their bouquets by requesting to have a charm, locket, or some other personal item placed in their bouquet.

We think it is such a memorable way to recognize family members who aren’t present on this special day! Some brides put pictures of these loved ones in lockets to be placed in the bouquet. Others actually have something that belonged to this family member, such as a trinket or bracelet, worked into the bouquet. We think all of these personalized ideas are such unique ways to include someone who means so much to you.

Other ideas for brides to consider include incorporating your “something blue” item by having a trinket or personal good-luck charm placed into your bouquet. So far, we have been able to work in whatever brides give us to be placed on the handle of their bouquet. Whatever you can think up works for us!

What do you think of this special way to recognize a loved one or just dress up the handle of your bouquet?

Sweet 16 Birthday Party

What better way to celebrate a Sweet 16 birthday than with this awesome candy themed extravaganza! We absolutely loved designing this one-of-a-kind look for this candy-loving client!

Take a look at the candy-themed centerpieces that we fell in love with! First, we designed faux cotton candy trees covered in painted cotton with candy necklaces hanging from the branches.Doesn’t it look so tasty?

In addition, we designed another centerpiece for the party where we filled tall clear vases with pink gel and topped them with a ball of carnations- don’t forget the straw and cherry on top to resemble a milkshake!

We even added another faux cotton candy tree with REAL bags of edible cotton candy hanging from it for guests to enjoy
